If you were Alice… (Miriam Weisz)

What does the modern Alice in Wonderland look like? This question is the starting point of the photo series and the answers and ideas of friends are the inspiration for the realization.

In the pictures, the characteristics and symbols of the novel character in relation to the present day and the personal aspects of those portrayed flow together in equal measure. In the field of tension between being and appearance, between the role on the outside and the experience on the inside. A portrayal of the personal powers to shape one’s own reality.

Le Tour Belgique Commercial (Kathrin Vogt)

A foray through the Belgian Quarter in the form of still-life photographs of selected stores and boutiques.

Kathrin Vogt creates impressively finely conceived and complex still lifes for selected stores and boutiques. Her images combine art with commerce, simplicity with bright colors and minimalism with expressiveness. She implements her projects with a love of detail and enthusiasm for light, shapes and colors and uses them to authentically convey the messages behind the images.

Mind in Motion (Franziska Klein)

Franziska Klein shares with us insights into her working methods and world of inspiration for projects in artistic photography.

Unconventional perspectives and complex contexts in a reduced visual language characterize her photographs. In her series “mind in motion”, the separation of subject and object seems to be suspended. Objects are misappropriated and given a new tension. The room becomes an interior space. The monochrome design frees the pictures from a zeitgeist. The contoured lighting creates three-dimensional depth and draws the viewer into the picture.
